“The entire concept of Brightline Bags was built upon the idea of designing and developing the best and most-versatile gear bags for pilots,” said Ross Bishop of Brightline Bags. “As a consequence, we are totally committed to serving general aviation, as well as the airline industry, and we are thrilled to have been sponsoring the Ninety-Nines since 2012. The Ninety-Nines is an organization that we greatly respect and one which we are proud to partner with. Flying is a fantastic job, and we hope that our sponsorship can help in some way to encourage more women to choose flying as their occupation.”

BrightLine Bags was founded in 2008 by the owner and CEO Ross Bishop. As a Certified Flight Instructor for Rotorcraft, Ross experienced first-hand the challenge faced  by all pilots when  trying to find a perfect gear bag. None of the flight bags on the market ever had enough well-thought-out organization, and the bags were never able to become  larger or smaller to accommodate the different gear needs from one flight to the next.  Ross utilized his engineering experience to design his very own modular flight bag system to let pilots “pick their parts and build their bags”. Once he began to show the design and concept to his fellow pilots, he discovered that there was an immediate demand for this type of product. Inspired by this feedback, Ross launched BrightLine Bags, and the company has flourished ever since.
