Medina, OH – Psych360’s President & Chief Medical Officer Nicole Coniglio MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, ACNP-BC Board Certified Advanced Practice Nurse has been invited to present at the Ohio Health Care Association’s 2019 Conference held April 29-May 2.
Coniglio will be presenting on two topics. Psychiatric illness in Long Term Care: Clinical Management will help administrators discover the importance of providing residents evidence-based psychiatric care in long term settings for an improved quality of life. This session will describe various mental disorders, discuss pharmacological and nonpharmacological interventions, and review current CMS regulations regarding psychotropic medications.
An additional presentation entitled Medical Marijuana – Clinical and Legal Update 2019 will help providers understand the scope and limitations of the Ohio Medical marijuana program from a legal perspective and analyze the clinical evidence or at times the lack thereof, supporting the use of medical marijuana. Isabelle Bibet-Kalinyak, a health care attorney, will be a co-presenter with Coniglio.

The Ohio Health Care Association (OHCA) represents nearly 1000 skilled nursing care facilities, assisted living communities and providers of care. Their annual conference draws nearly 2,000 attendees each year.
